Volunteers for May 18 and
19

Volunteers
We are in need of more volunteers for the Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th shows at the Woodside Horse Park. We need scribes, ring stewards, runners, and extra people on hand, especially on the Friday show. Contact Wendy Mattes at wendy@wendymattes.com if you can offer some time as a volunteer.
L Judge Program Needs Volunteers
A D1 session of the L Judge Program will be in process during the May 18th and May 19th shows. We have several student judges who will be practicing judging tests as part of this program. We need an additional pool of runners, scorers and scribes for the student judges for these days. If you have experience as a scribe or would like to learn how to scribe, please volunteer for these days. Contact Andrea Chenu at

Helping out at this session is a great way to learn more about the program. It has been redesigned to offer a well-rounded source of information for those interested in building skills in evaluating the horse's movement and elements of a dressage test.
Sign Up for Test 4
The L Judge program requires that 6 or more horses ride Test 4 at the Training, First, and Second Levels. If you are showing, please give special consideration to signing up for these classes to ensure that the L Judge session is a success. Additional rider prizes will be awarded in these classes. Also, contact Andrea Chenu if you would like to ride in one of the Test 4 classes without being formally judged since we may need demo riders to fill up the classes.

Tack Sale at Webb Ranch on June 3rd
The Juniors/Young Riders Committee of the SFP Chapter is holding a tack sale at Webb Ranch on June 3rd. Check out the items for sale at very reasonable prices. Last year, there were great deals on all kinds of items including saddles, riding boots, stirrup leathers and more.
You can donate your used tack and riding apparel to the Juniors/Young Riders Committee by contacting Wendy Mattes at wendy@wendymattes.com before June 1st.

Sign Up for the Matt Brown Clinic
The Matt Brown dressage clinic will be at the Horsepark on June 10th and Webb Ranch on June 11th. The cost is $120 per one hour ride payable by check to CDS-SFP. Mail your entry information and check to Nancy Benson, 309 La Cuesta Drive, Portola Valley, CA 94028. See the SFP website for the Entry Forms and more information.
