Steve Wiberg Lecture at 7:00
Join us at the Woodside Town Hall for the Chapter Meeting, which begins at 5:30 pm - that's an hour earlier than usual. The reason? Following the meeting, at 7 pm, Steve Wiberg will talk about what it's like shoeing for the Ringling Brothers Circus, where he deals with more than just horses. There is no fee for this chapter event. For more information, please contact Susie Lombardi at falombardi@sbcglobal.net or 415-567-1744. |

We're Updating Our Volunteer Lists -
May We Add Your Name?
We're updating our list of volunteers available to help with events or shows. The online 'Volunteer Form' on the Chapter website will be updated shortly - it's quick to fill out and automatically emails the information. You're also welcome to send an email with your name, interests/skills and best way to reach you; just email to chenua2000@yahoo.com. Please feel free to let us know if you'd like to work on a particular event, learn about a new skill or need to collect volunteer hours to qualify for an educational session - we'll happily accommodate you! |

CDS Director, and SFP Chapter Member, Susie Lombardi reported from the CDS Annual Meeting, held last month: "I felt the Annual Meeting was very interesting. The creator of Fox Village, Pete Jorgensen, gave a very comprehensive lecture regarding show secretary, and a visual demo with large screen and individual laptops. Connie Davenport gave a lecture regarding show management. Both were very well received and something that has been needed for a very long time."
