Nancy Benson
I have been in love with horses since the early age of 5, although my family could not afford a horse, I some how was able to involve them in my life whether it was riding, watching them in pastures, managing pony rides, mucking stalls or just reading about them. It was not until my mid- thirties that I started the process of leasing a horse which then lead to me finally purchasing a horse of my own. At the time I was strictly a dressage rider but over the years, some jumping was interspersed into my riding, then I got involved in the eventing world. I currently still own my first horse that is now leased out as a dressage horse, whom is a great teacher. I have another addition, a wonderful Welsh Cob that I event at the Novice level. In my professional career I am involved in the medical device/diagnostic industry in the area of Quality Assurance/ Regulatory Affairs. I am no longer employed in the corporate world but now work as a consultant/independent contractor in the same area of expertise.
